Amalgamation Agreement

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009 - Following the Board of Director's meetings for the Sandwich Community Health Centre (SCHC) on Tuesday, September 29th, 2009 and the Teen Health Centre (THC) on Monday, September 28th, 2009, both Community Health Centres have signed an amalgamation agreement. The amalgamation of the two CHCs was supported by the Erie St. Clair Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) at their recent Board of Director's meeting. SCHC Board Chairperson's Dr. Brent Angell, and representatives from the Teen Health Centre's Board of Directors met with staff to provide preliminary details regarding the next steps following the signing of the amalgamation agreement. Meetings with staff were scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 1st, 2009 at 9:00 at the Teen Health Centre, 1487 Ouellette Street location and at 10:30am at the Sandwich Community Health Centre, Felix Ave. site.
